Champlain Abroad Dublin students joined forces with students from the Erasmus Social Network (ESN) to plant 250 trees in a Dublin park this week. The Erasmus Social Network is a Europe-wide student organization devoted to develop and support student exchange and facilitating the social and personal integration of international students.
Ten Champlain students and twenty ESN students from Sweden, China, France, Canada, Brazil, Ireland, and the USA participated in the tree planting, with the saplings provided by Dublin City Council. After the planting, the entire group came to the Champlain Academic Centre for a well-deserved BBQ.
A great time was had by all, some new friends were made, and a city park got some new trees!
